First PCP air rifle suggestion.

Taipan Veteran, the Vulcan Tactic, FX Wildcat, the Kalibrgun Cricket

I was definitely looking at those but for the same price I could get the Raptor mini and could change calibers

Honestly I have no idea how long it would actually take for you to even receive nor get any kind of warranty service for your Raptor Mini once you pay for it using your hard earned money. YO!

Those Zbroia airguns are accurate and prices are not too bad. I also haven't heard any issues with them. Another airgun in the midway mark to consider is the Daystate Huntsman Regal XL in .22cal. Even the non-regulated versions are accurate, have great quality, beautiful walnut stocks and are easy to maintain. They're also pump friendly. Mine takes about 50 to 60 pumps from 135 bar to 210 bar. If you're thinking about high end, more power to you. You have so many good choices. You'll have to narrow it down a little bit more on budget and what you'll be using the gun for. Bullpup, rifle?

As always, what ya gunna do with it? Shoot paper or hunt, both? something else?

For a first PCP (there will be more!), I'd still go with the Marauder. Plus I'd go for the .22 version. Why?

New barrels from Crosman are very good. Reviews are great. I have an earlier Gen 2, and at 50 yards, very accurate. Got good trigger (most less expensive guns triggers are really bad).

Big thing is that if you want to tinker, it has adjustability no other entry level gun has. You can tune the gun, not just look for the best pellet that might work. Hammer spring, tension and the transfer port are all adjustable. No other entry level gun can do that.

If you want to have a regulated gun, you can buy a Field and Target, or add a regulator later. If you after market parts, the Marauder has a huge after mareket.

For paper punching, the .22 is good to 75 yards or so is my experience. Tune it down and you'll get 50 shots per fill, very accurate, and about 21 foot pounds,.

For hunting, the .22 is plenty of power, setting up to 30 foot pounds and get around 30 shots per fill. All depends on what you want.

Everything I learned on the Marauder was directly transferrable to the Impact. It's a great learning platform.

Good Luck

From one newbie to another, I recently purchased my first PCP rifle. The Hatsan Flash pup. I have no other PCP experience to compare it to “accuracy wise” but I do shoot a lot of custom centerfire rifles that I develop loads for and 22 Rimfire accuracy. All I can say is wow. That dude is some kind of accurate. Avg 900 FPS with a 22.cal 18G jsb pellet. And it’s easy to refill with a hand pump. May be worth giving it a look. I put a sightmark nv scope on it and have been taking out quite a few rats. It has been an awesome PCP to start with for myself. Now I think I have another addiction. Lol
