First outing for the Kral Bighorn "MOUFLON"

As per my normal. I mounted and zeroed my scope this morning then headed out to a 100yd BR comp. New gun never shot at 100 with a new scope. Took high card of the day at 229/250 and a 3 card score of 661 for 3rd place overall.

Kral Bighorn .30 with a double bottle and tensioned TJ hammer forged barrel.

Shooting 44.8g pellets at 935fps avg

It is. I got Kral to send me a few to set up for RMAC.

Factory 500cc tanks. One to keep cost down and two for the added weight. Weight is your friend on benchrest. Nearly 20lb as sits. Not an issue since it will never be used off a bench.

In my state you need to have six uninhabited miles behind a shooting range to shoot in the open so a bunch of pencil neck geeks came up with this solution for a state operated range. You have to shoot through 32 feet of concrete pipe into tall berms and every shot with a powder burner goes BOYING and feels like you were just hit in the head with a large rubber mallet. Just imagine 8 guys beside you shooting ARs every second or two.

That is a real world test of serviceability and accuracy that your Bighorn mods produce, not to mention some damn good shooting.



I get 966 fps with my 44.5 grain HP cast bullets from the 25 Bighorn you tuned and sold me, with the choke amputated at 21 inches.
