First NEW PCP

Talked to Charlie Fear (Georgia Airguns) yesterday about his airguns. After a long discussion & long decision making I decided on the 22 cal. carbine. I still have that mini 22 & the 25 cal haunting my mind. Wonder if I can talk the wife into airgunning haha. The money went out this morning so it should be here next week, this is going to be a looong week ! If your reading this Charlie just take your time because I have three others to shoot & it was a pleasure talking to ya ! Darell

Hammer forged CZ barrel = love. I want pics when you get it in.

Lol, just tell your wife the mini would look good on her and let her shoot the carbine. I let my wife shoot the regal and was surprised how much she enjoyed it. Her group at 50yd:

Not bad for her first group and first time ever firing a rifle.

cheers

Bob_O chohan Pictures? (LOL) Only took me 5 months to figure out how to PM Michael & quod123 (doug) showed me. I'll have to get my 14 yr old grandson to help me with the pictures since him & an the younger grand daughter only want to shoot the guns when they come over. chohan I converted a 25 cal. mrod to a bullpup- the wife loved it except for the weight, good excuse to get a Vulcan 25 or something similar . She reminded me that I have close to 5grand into this new hobby in less then a year (If she only new) I would be sleeping in the garage. I'm having a hard time explaining what certain things are when she finds them (LOL)

Kayaker - when I read this, I laughed and laughed especially the part about "trying to explain what certain things are when she finds them."

Quick back story -- When I retired two years ago, everyone asked me what am I going to do with all the free time? I could relate to our statement above so well, b/c I bought my first PCP this past March, after buying a few break barrels prior to that.

"Honey, I thought you told me you had only one gun?" I found two more locked up under the bed, but there is also one in the 4 Seasons room in a locked case, which I thought was your one and only air gun." Also, when I was cleaning the attic last weekend, to my surprise, I found two more which were also locked up. They looked like they were hidden on purpose. " And...., what is this air tank doing in the garage in a cardboard box?" "These cans of lead pellets are everywhere." "You're not shooting squirrels in the back yard are you?"

"How are we supposed to out live our money in retirement, if you keep spending it all on these stupid guns?" "You need to go back to work or get a different hobby!"

So, like Ricky Ricardo used to say on "I love Lucy"......"I had a lot of splainin' to do!"
