I received my moderator today it's AMAZING. It's a Silent Thunder Falx on a Hatsan Gladius in .177. It took the sound from 97 decibels to 75 decibels at the muzzle shooting 10.34gr JSB at 1050 fps. It has not affected speed or accuracy. The only noise I now hear is from the gun's mechanics. I thought it was reasonably priced at $129, service was prompt. If you're thinking about a moderator give them a look. I'm very pleased with it. John

I too received my Falx on Monday. I haven't had a chance to test it yet. But I can see it quickly becoming my go to mod.

So an aluminum moderator from Silent Thunder Ordnance then. I had heard he was going to do this. Never too many aftermarket parts for our airguns.

Yo, dawg, on this guys blog he straight up said helium makes air guns shooter faster due to the viscosity of the gas, THE VISCOSITY....yo, this man sciences so hard, he said VISCOSITY....lmfao, for real...its molecular weight btw...absolutely nothing to do with viscosity, in fact, helium's viscosity is basically the same as the air you're breathing now...anyway, I literally spit out my coffee when reading his blog and he stated this...sorry for going all hooligan there, its just that, I can't help it, that type of misinformation drives me BONKERS.

A more correct description would be to say helium for the same volume of gas at the same pressure has a lower mass. Therefore for the same volume and pressure of gas the pellet will go faster because less force is used to accelerate the gas behind the pellet.

May have been better to have used the word density instead then it probably wouldn't sound as dense to you.

Anyone have the dimensions on this Falx moderator (length, weight, diameter, etc)? Appreciate it very much, am hinking about buying one but could not find these specs on their site.
