I’m really liking the looks of that gun much more than I thought I would. Specially in the black. It’s just a bit long for me, is there a shorter version?

That a beauty Bob, really like the lines and design of the stock. They are a well built and a solid feeling gun. My S500 and S410 was a tad loud I thought but that's easy to remedy. Are you going to try slugs eventually with it? Again Congrats, Christmas in September!!!

Intenseaty22, Air Arms isn’t exactly clear about availability of the carbine, but in fact if you go to their website they have a YouTube video that goes through the new models. I just looked and they separate out, a Carbine, a Rifle, and the XS. It would appear they are offering (or will be) all three in any stock choice and regulated. I’m about to bust as mine in walnut is sitting in its box at my sons house and I have two more weeks before I can get home.

Yes, I will be testing slugs. I have NSA slugs in 19 and 21gr. Also JSB pellets in 15.89 and 18.13gr. I'm really hoping the slugs are accurate!

Just a heads up, the factory end cap has female threads, so if you want to attach say an existing Sumo/Tanto suppressor in my case, you'll need an adapter like this one I got from DonnyFL.

It'll be nice to get her on the table after work, clean it up, mount a scope and bipod, etc. And I'll post some pics after.
By that time it will be too dark to shoot, sunset is a 7:40 p.m. here. Tomorrow is all rain. Maybe I'll chrono in the basement.....I do have an indoor lighting add-on that I haven't tried yet.

Beautiful looking rifle Bob!! I like that is has a "rail" under the forend for a bipod..
I wish AA would make a full synthetic stock for that rifle.. ( Hint, Hint AA) It would take some of the weight out of it..

Nice AG Bob. I love the finish on the airtube. The detents on the power wheel is a great feature too. Does it still have the weird fill probe?
