First kills with the FX Streamline

"markT"I could see an exit wound behind the shoulder and low.. I can't explain that hit.. really strange. Bad pellet? Accuracy with out magazine? Really strange..
You could have hit through the hide, with enough force to knock it down, but missed anything vital or even any bone.

I shot one once at 15 yards or so with the .177 LGV, It stood there, stunned, dripping blood from mouth. Didn’t run, just walked small circle around, drunk like. Enough time for me to reload the Springer and put one where it counted. I tried looking for the first POI to no avail.

I've had similar. Shot a gray squirrel from 30 yards and he just dropped right in the middle of a trail on my property. I saw no movement through my scope, didn't even look like he was breathing. Went to retrieve him and got to 5 yards away and he jumped up and ran for a log pile. I eventually found him and finished him off. I hate if they get away wounded. Squirrels can be some tough to kill critters sometimes.

I went to my "theater" this WE. Only killed two.. they are feeding on Mulberry's like crazy. I got one last evening that was headed home and paused in a 80' tall oak tree. I end up shooting it three times B4 he fell.
The seconded one was at 7:15 am. He was high up in another oak tree just messing around. I put one in the heart lung area. He held on for ~7 seconds with his back legs and the fell 60' to the ground.. 8 seconds later Mr Red tail hawk flew in and grabbed him for a morning meal.
I love my new SL and love mother nature.

I got my first pest control job at my uncles farm. Ground hogs and rabbits demolished his garden last year. When I went out to check the property I noticed his farm houses were swarming with starlings. So far 3 rabbits (pest control with permission and legal) 2 huge ground hogs and allot of starlings. The 2 hogs were taken at 40ish yards. 1 through the neck and severed the spine. The other headshot behind the ear. The rabbits were 35, 50, and 60 yards. All four leggers were 1 shot kills.

It’s a good gun. The ability to adjust the power has came into play allot more than I expected. And I’ve made some interesting discoveries. Most all of the farmhouse starlings have been taken on med power to eliminate any collateral damage to the house. Med power seems to transfer more energy to the starling than high power which flys right through them. I know the make up of your target can dictate that, but for birds at 60yds and under I prefer med power.
The chuck on top was taken today. When I showed my uncle he said “so you haven’t got the big one yet”? “Umm.. not yet”?
