Man, I love this thing! So much more accurate that my old Gamo Swarm! I have it dialed down to 680fps for backyard ratting.

JSB King 25.4 gr 680fps at 10 yards. 26fpe vs the Gamo shooting .22 King Heavy 18.13 gr at 660fps for 16 fpe. Can’t believe this thing at the lowest setting is more powerful than the break barrel I’ve been using for years.

Thanks! Only thing I don’t like about it is it sits pretty far back, so it’s a little hard to get a good cheek weld. I’ve gotten used to it, though. But I like that I can take it on and off without having to adjust the scope for daytime shooting.

Oh yeah, I fully agree. I just shot my longest kill at 101 yds. Been shooting pest starlings at ranges out and around 80 yds but had a shot at a Feral Pigeon at 101 and the WC performed like a champ. The more I shoot my MKIII the more I realize it's true potential. Good shooting, we don't have rats so pest birds have to do around here.

Count yourself lucky. I’d much rather have birds than rats! Rats are smart and sneaky. They have decimated my garden and fruit tree production.
