WOW , Thermal is must-have for pest control

Wish I could afford one of those at $8500, but that’s a big commitment for sure!

I have the lowest end of the THOR4 range, the ATN THOR 4 384 1.25-5x scope and it cost $2000. It records video and photos, has a ballistic calculator and can take a rangefinder add-on so you can use it with the Ballistics Calculator, and just range and shoot, no holdover or under required. It has 6 or 7 color modes and it can take six profiles for different ammo or different guns.

They also make a THOR LT thermal scope which has a lower resolution of only 320 and only displays in Black Hot or White Hot mode, and no photo or video recording, ballistics calculator or rangefinder add-on. It also has a smaller battery for only 10 hours of runtime as opposed to the 18 hour runtime of the THOR 4 line. It cost $1100 dollars.

Here is a clip of my using my scope detached from my gun at the lake. My wife is about 50 yards away, the farthest boat is around 250 yards away, and the house on the other side of the lake is about 350 yards. I don't use this Fusion mode often, but sometimes it helps pick out things that are in the distance a little better than my preferred Black Hot mode.

Here is a sample at close range using the Glowbow color profile. I call this the Lava profile for obvious reasons! 😀 I also don't use this much in practice.

Yeah, I have had several thermals. I used to have a Thor 4 and I’m currently using an AGM Rattler TS-25 384.

I was commenting on the Nvision X50, as it’s probably the nicest thermal available right now for the general public.
