I have a Veteran shorty .22 all you need to do is shoot it! It is fantastic out of the box.

Gun is unbeatable...however,the stock badly needs to be redesigned and thinned out...too bulky, too fat!!!

Tip: Shoot 18.1 grain JSB at 900 FPS. = Laser Beam. But CZ barrels not that picky... I have the .22 Mutant Standard.

That’s the same first impression I had with my 22 long, wow, all those guys were right. Congrats on a fine rifle. Don’t forget Papy Yosh has mag holders and a cheek rest for the veterans for a great price.

FPE--->34-35
Shot string of 40.
250 bar fill. 155 bar after 40 shots.
10 shot group at 20 yards---->1 pellet-sized hole.
*Weather permitting I will test gun at greater distances tomorrow.

This is my fav gun too. Yes the cocking lever is back, but not a big deal. I think you nailed all the pluses. Congrats!!!
