First deer of the year with my dragon claw

Bagged a nice doe after a rough morning . It was extremely foggy this morning . Ended up having to pull over at a gas station and wait for the sun to come up before continuing . It was about9- 9:30 by the time i got in the woods . Right as i got on the edge of the property I hunt i kicked up some does . Shot the one that gave me a clear shot . Hard to tell how far she was due to fog(range finder won’t work in fog) but id say 65 yards or so maybe closer . About as far as I’d shoot one with the dragon claw but didn't have any issue . She ran about 50-60 yards, dropped, kicked a couple times and that was it . Shot through the heart from front of armpit back up into the off side lung and stuck just under the hide . Dug out the round ball but lost it between stopping by my parent’s and going to the butcher . Did grab a few photos of it though . She was 98.9lbs dressed .

And as an added bonus my drivers side wheel bearing has gone bad . At least I got a deer before it went lol

Nice kill you got there. I was amazed at the power when I shot a dragon claw.

Thanks guys . She is bigger than my doe last year by a good bit . Hopefully I can get my truck sorted out and get back out before season ends on the 30th .
