First day with Panthera .30 700mm

The Arca rail is what is flexing on the rifle. The barrel is stiff to the receiver so you shouldn't see much issue with any POI issues. You will more than likely wear a mark on the shroud/plenum after a while.

The ones up here in ND haven't had any issues with the flex and you know FX has a fix or something in the works. Much like the carbon additions and other things for the M3 that they came out with.

Why take off the barrel band ? ......and then expect a long unsupported rail not to flex ?

Looks like going out of the way to create a problem to me.
As noted above it is not a barrel band. I got scolded for suggesting FX USA consider using the bridge to incorporate some kind of barrel support. The bridge is purely to mount accessories unfortunately.

Blake1521,
Thank for the real world review. I’m sorry to read your excitement is described as a 5 of 10. Rest assured you’ve got a great gun. As with any new idea there’s a proofing period. Panthera is definitely a new idea to the industry. It truly is a great example of air guns past and future. And this is why I enjoy air guns. There’s so many ground breaking ideas with air guns.
If a person could imagine the day, the first PCP was introduced. I’m sure all the spring and pump air gun shooter said some crazy things. Back in the day, pcp was often referred to as the dark side. Now fast forward, today. The “dark side” is a very normal air gun.
This style of air gun will have a place in air gun world as normal too.
