picked up a gauntlet from pyramyd air a month or so ago. have been wanting to get out and stretch its legs a little but with work and weather, opportunity have been in short supply. This sunday though, dang dry, light wind, and 59 degrees. well in january in oregon that is as close to perfect as i can imagine. so when sunday rolls around i get packed up and run for the car......... only to have the dadd blang serpentine belt squeal like it is going out of style grrrrr!!!! here i am dreaming of shooting and smelling the trees and damp moss only to have car issues and i just remembered that i need to pick up a prescription from the pharmacist DANG!!!! head to the auto parts store pick up a belt get back in the car turn it on and the car runs with very little squeal, sun hits my face, wind blows around my ears and i think to heck with it all and head out to shoot and walk. the gauntlet performed as expected to about 53 long strides "no range finder yet" and the smells were therapeutic. have a great week.
