First Chuck of the season

After observing a big momma for a few weeks, it seems like the young are out and about. Saw at least three this week on the property and some under my neighbor shed. He has given me the green light on them. This youngster was unlucky at 36 yards, I was not happy with the kill I needed two shots. Saw the second one peeking out its hole but could not get a shot... Next time.

@l.leon, well done and I am envious no pesting allowed here. Hopefully, autumn I can make it home to Idaho for some varmint hunting, jacks and the like because by autumn the ground squirrels and rock chucks will be down for the winter.
