First blood with the Katran Compact

How’s the build quality on those? Any accuracy testing yet? I really like these the way they look and their stats. Just haven’t know anybody that’s owned one yet.

Its shooting JSB 15.89g pellets at around 750 fps for 80 shots off a 260 bar fill. I haven’t filled to 300 bar yet, because I don’t like to. Accuracy is great out to 50 yards at that fps.. Build quality is top notch, and I don’t have to worry about double loading pellets with the anti-Double feed. That was alway a problem with my crown and impact, nothing worse than taking a barrel out to clear pellets during a shooting session. The squirrel were taken at 30 yards. No issues, I have other long range options, but I wanted a compact backpacker to carry around. Folds down to 20” without the moderator.

I threw a couple posts on this gun you may find interesting. Shot pellets and slugs well.

Having owned both, this is Defiantly a better option than the dream tac compact in my opinion..

Any flex in the stock? They look a little thin where they are attached to the reciever. Congrats on the squirrels.

I haven’t shot it more than a few days, but I haven’t noticed anything to speak of. The stock is equal to my Saber tactical crown chassis stock in strength without all the extra stuff on it..
