First Blood With EVOL .30

Got up this morning and let the dog out while having coffee and had a flock of crows surrounding my house. My home is bordered on t2 side by the woods 10 yards away. I grabbed my new (to me) EVOL and belly crawled around between the house and garage and waited for a shot to present itself. Didn’t need to wait long….65 yards, 44 grn Hades and it dropped without a sound but still needed a finisher, tough birds….

I have an 68grn NOE mould that it shoots well, I need to cast more. That Hades blew a hole next next to the wing in the breast that I could put my thumb in. It still got its feet under it but didn’t move, just perched on a stick a few inches off the ground.

i got ya !!
i use the hades for close-up critters. but i hunt crows year round and a solid works well
out to 100+yrds.
i like to watch the murder frenzy after one hits the ground !!
