I just got my setup completed and sighted in earlier this week. It was put together with very specific requirements of being compact and easily transported and have to energy needed to handle groundhogs and squirrels. My parents have been having problems with both and have declared open season on them. One of the squirrels had even chewed into the soffit and made its way into the attic. Today he got evicted.
I was a little off on my range estimation but know that at that distance and the 12° incline that it would be through vitals in any case. It was a super solid hit, and he dropped off the roof instantly. The picture with the stick points to the lump that is the pellet just under the skin on the opposite side of the squirrel. I love the scope on this setup, but have to get used to how high it sits over barrel.
I am looking forward to future adventures with this setup. As being someone that build my own 300 Blkout from individually selected parts and a spring and pin kit, I kind of like the simular looks and modification that can be done to this airgun. Maybe after I complete my Bachelor's I will buy another high end PCP as a target/plinker as a celebratory reward. Thinking maybe an FX Impact.
I plan on heading to the Pyramydair cup tomorrow and talk to some rep's about some modifications I would like to explore.
