pp700sa first night at the dairy
Took the pp700sa to the dairy last night and killed 20 rats the furthest shots were 10 yards. In one instance I was shooting into what looked like a little cave at the corner of one of the feed trough. When I squatted and shone my green light I could see at least a half dozen rats milling about the opening. So I proceeded to deal out 14.3 Crosman HP these shots where at 15 feet. In another barn I laid out five in one spot, shot one and when his buddy came over to see he got some and so on. The pistol perform well, in quite a few instance I missed kills because I forgot to cock the hammer. All in all I’m impress with it, light handling, and just enough power to get the job done in the buildings and under the roof. I also shot about 30 starlings in the rafters, but the rats gave the most joy. I only recovered one rat body because I shot him out in the open. The rest I let lay as there is no way I’m stepping into the building where I’m shooting them. Incredible mucky messes. See photo. The pistol is set up with a 20 year old Tasco 2-7x and I have a LumenShooter light atop the scope with a DonnyFl Tanto in front, very, very quiet and deadly. She had a good debut.
