First blood for my new(to me) compact crown tactical!

Received the crown from an AGN member yesterday. Borrowed my dream-tac compact 177 barrel and added a mini bottle, zeroed it in with Element helix scope and saw this roof eater jumped on my tree. My heart racing with excitement and first shot was just above it’s eye(my fault, pulled it a little) just 1/4 inch too forward but it dropped to the ground and didn’t move very far but obvious it needed a follow up shot. Second shot was dead center in the forehead so turned off the sun for her. Next time I’ll have to do better at settling down to ensure a proper brain shot.

It’s shooting 7.4 grain crosman pointed pellet at 660 FPS, squirrel was 25 yards and up in the tree.

Follow up shot was better.

Thanks guy, really dig the compact form factor!

@blackpaw: I don’t have a whole lot of choice with power because of my suburbia back yard, but I found it far more fun and challenging. Back when I was less experienced I was shooting them with my impact .25 and even after I tuned it down to 600FPS it’s obvious still too much power and not safe. Fortunately I was smart enough to always have a back stop but looking back it still was not safe! Nor was it fun because that .25 hades just shredded them no matter where I hit them.
