I typically shoot out to 66 yards in my immediate yard and had been lazy about clearing a sight line out to 100 yards from my deck. Finally set one up today but since I was shooting from inside the dining room it added the 4 extra yards. There was a very light rain which show me wind direction along with a piece of hanging yarn at the target. I was using my Bantam Sniper HR on level 6 on the TP, with Athlon Helos BTR atop sending JSB 18s. Dialed 13 MOA for elevation, I never target shoot at this distance but am looking to remedy that... after a few sighters to get on paper. I sent 15 shots at 104 yards on my property. This is the target... After this I set up 2 black walnut husks at the same distance. Took me 4 shots to hit the first and 2 shots to hit the second. Conditions were calm, so I’m not deluding myself I know what the wind does to the 18s at even 40 yards. That said I’ll be sending many more rounds out to 100 yards now that I can do it at home.
