First Air Arms on the way !

I've had HWs Diana's and Walther springers through the years and still have a couple HWs and a Marksman that i shoot quite often. But this is my first Air Arms and a fine example of a TX 200 .22 she is...
Cant wait to try it out later this week .
Has some brass bling and an adjustable but pad. Think I'm going to try my hand at some bench rest competition in Kalamazoo this summer. Its supposed to be a real tack driver!!!! Pics when it gets here ???

Congratulations ChuckHunter. I think you’re going to love the rifle. I’ve had mine for ten years now and have fired over 150,000 pellets with it (though that’s a conservative number) and it is still rock solid and has only gotten smoother. In all that time my TX has gone through about seven mainsprings and five piston seals (with the mainspring replacements being because of accidental discharge without a pellet in the breech), but those are expendable and are inexpensive replacement/serviceable parts. The TX200 is built to outlast the shooter with proper care.

Kinda windy here today but stacking 15.89 JSB's at 25yds!
shooting right at 15 fpe.
Has a couple blems on the stock but nothing bad and the bluing is superb....
Little bit of buzz in the firing cycle and probably will tune here up after I shoot it a while.
had a couple scopes on hand and decided to go with the Hawke Air max 4x12x40 AO with AMX reticle.
I'M A HAPPY CAMPER!!!!!
Gonna bust some starlings tomorrow ?????

Looks alright indeed.
With all those Rowan ( ? or who made all the blinging parts?) bit's what do you think it is tuned with? Just seems to me anyone adding those parts - a thought full a well as shinny trigger - will have been inside also. My friend Cliff say's " these TX's are all different and you have to tune them the way each rifle wants to be tuned" or such as that, and as he seemingly had a fair number of them and won a couple of championships with them I've always tried to keep that in mind when firing & thinking TX's.

Now go wear that rig out!

"intenseaty22"Getem Chuck! Nice rig, you should be proud. Can always buy an extra stock, maybe in Walnut? Have one to beat up, another for Catwalks?
Thank you Intenseaty,
I have been eyeing the HC in walnut for a while but just couldn't pass on this deal....
And your right I see stocks for sale every now and then .

"Windmill01"She’s a looker James, I particularly like the gold cocking grip, trigger and guard. Maybe down the line you could bling out the stock screws in gold. I see you have already adjusted the butt pad, that’s something I miss on my rifles.
Gary
Thank you Gary,
And for what I got her for those bling parts were more than free....lol.
got all the original parts with it also!
The trigger is sweet and tuned to about 8 ounces. And the adjustable butt pad is really nice too I'm 6'3" and it fits me like a glove...
Also in an earlier post we talked about that 4x12x40 Air Max scope. Well I decided to put it on this new rifle and put about 100 rounds down range yesterday and it's holding zero great so far....

Thank you John,
And yes those all are Rowan parts and I believe the stock mounting bracket has been upgraded too.
The gun is about 8 years old and only had a couple tins through it and it is all stock inside. But being that it's making 15 fpe I think I've got a good one.
probably will go with a JM kit later this summer and try to smooth up the firing cycle a bit but overall I'm really impressed so far. Actually splattered a couple flies on the target yesterday and smiling I was.....
