First A.G. groundhog.

I've taken squirrels, chipmunks, even a couple crows. (dumb ones they were)
I was at my g-friends house in one of them classy developments where shooting a firearm
would get the SWAT team called.
I keep my Walther Talon .22 here that has a trigger job and industrial gas ram.
It's a bear to cock but shoots over 950 f.p.s. with a 14.3 grain pel.
I have some H&N Terminators 16.1 pels for dispatching critters like the groundhog that's been
nibbling my green beans to a nub.
It was close, maybe 20 when it ran for cover so I took a straight away running shot trying
to break it's spine but was off a half inch but thumped it pretty good.
It ran about 10 feet and fell flat out dead.
Evidently the pel angled towards the front, entered the rib cage and probably hit the heart
as there was no pink lung blood, nor any blood at all.
An average g-hog of about 8 pounds kilt real quick.
