First 30 Shots After Installing a New FX STX Superior .25 600mm In my FX Crown !

How does the superior standard 600 compare to the slug liner A 600 both .25 with jsb mk2 and NSA 33.5 in your experience?

They both, the Slug “A” liner and the Superior STX liner shoot JSB 33.95g and NSA 33.5g slugs well. But, the Superior liner in my experience shoots consistently smaller groups. Shooting in different wind conditions, on different days over a time period of 3 months, the Superior liner has had less flyers and just places the pellets and slugs in the same area on target. The Slug liner from day to day could be all over the place at times at shorter and especially longer distances. The Superior liner from day to day at shorter and longer distances group smaller and POI is more predictable and reliable to hit where I aim for. This is what I have seen.

I put in a superior liner on any FX gun I own if it’s available. When I saw how it did on my buddy’s Wildcat I built for him, it sold me. 8 shots into the bulls on the large orange target and on the 1” targets those are cock and shoot shots with like 3-5 seconds between shots. The final thumbs up on the superior liner 25 cal 700mm came when him and his son picked up the gun from me, and I dared his son to slice a card in half set out sideways at 55 yards. It took him two shots to accomplish this, and as you can tell it made his day.

his kids a stud, anyway. Full ride water polo scholarship to Stanford. I knew he could pull it off.

thanks for the great post again, Joe! Was wondering where you’ve been, lol
