This was my first .25 it's a excellent little rifle for your money. They have been out of stock for a year but back again. If you have always wanted to try a .25 for not a lot of $$$ this is the one. The H&N 19.91 Grains shoot great in mine.

Have six Hatsan .25 now and a couple others.

Back when places had plenty of them, AGD seemed to have a never ending bargain deal on them for $89.99-$99.99 (I got one in .22 during one of those), grab one from PA with the 10% off forum code for about the same and back when I bought my first one from PA in .25, they were only 119.99. Random lame guess is they're trying to make up some income lost during the current mess with that price. I have or have had Edge rifles in all 3 calibers, plus an Edge springer in .25 and a 1000X that started life as a Vortex and is now a fully springer. Nice rifles for pesting out to the 30 yards I shoot and I've bagged everything from squirrels to a couple racoons with them. I've also got an 87QE and Model 95 in .25.

They also came out with the new AirTact which may have put a small damper on orders and sales. Although a springer (gas rammed versions might be coming??), it has a better trigger with more adjustability, the shrouded barrel with integrated muzzle break and the new version stock which at least to me feels better in hand. I have 2, both in .25. Bought the first one new when they were still using the Edge style stocks on them for $109.99, then made a deal with Hatsan to get my hands on that new style stock before they were ever released in the US, so I have one of the first. Bought the 2nd as a refurb for a whole $39.99 to tinker with gas ramming it since I have a couple gas rams sitting here from refurbs bought for parts. Both are 20fpe rifles and real nice for out to 30 yard pesting.

Edge .25

85 sniper .25

150 sniper .25

135 .25

XS28M .25

One of the thing I like about Hatsan is they offer a multitude of rifles in .25 after buying the Edge I wanted more .25 break barrels. Now have all these. I think many manufacturers missed the boat when it left the dock in the .25 caliber break barrel market.

Just me maybe, but I don't think the manufacturers missed the boat, I think they played more to the market for break barrel air rifles. Most shooters looking for a backyard pesting rifle are more inclined to buy something in .177 or .22 because there are way more choices in ammo for either and they can find pellets locally vs having to order online. Random lame thought is Hatsan has stayed with .25 in spring and gas ram guns this long because there's still a market for them and very few companies still making any, but you've found that out hunting for rifles in the caliber. Hatsan, Benjamin still has their Trail NP XL, Air Force has their Model 94 and if you want to really spend a bunch, Weihrauch has a couple models you can still get in .25.

I sold off more than a few rifles awhile back, several being .25 and part of the deal for anything I did sell was that if for any reason they were unhappy with what they bought from me, I'd buy it back no questions asked. All but one of the 6 rifles I bought back were .25's and the only complaint for those 5 rifles was the guys that bought them didn't like having to order pellets for them online. They wanted to be able to run to Wally World, Dick's, Cabela's or some other place local.

.25 caliber in a break barrel while it has it's following, is a niche market. Most shooters buying the caliber step to the Darkside and get a PCP to get more power and range.

Nooooo

Not the darkside. Me not ever. Simple is best a rifle and my tin of pellets is all I need.
