I have a AEA big bore I bought last fall to hunt pigs & coyotes. It is a standard which is a little heavy but not that bad. The only thing about this rifle is it is loud .

Please review the Airgun Nation Rules.

Pay attention particularly to rule #4.

#4 Discussion of firearms, firearm parts, or NFA items is prohibited.

I would be very worried about doing this unless you engrave a serial number on the filter and get a tax stamp for the NFA item. You can not claim this was designed exclusively for an airgun, and that it can not work on a firearm. The AFT have gone after people buying oil filters over the internet because of the readily available adapters on the market. Yes other factors played into this, not a risk I would take.

In short, I do not think this was a wise choice. But do what you feel you want to do, just remember that anyone can read these posts, and that includes bots looking for keywords.

I hear you but air guns are not considered fire arms. This has been brought up many times that's why we refer to them as suppressors. Thanks for the concern thow.

MODERATOR EDIT:

As above, refer to rule #4. Do not conflate Firearms with Airguns, do not post about illegal modifications to objects that circumvent existing firearm laws. This is a zero tolerance issue.
