finishing touches on my home 25 meter range

Finally had the chance to finish up my 25m home range. Leveled the ground, ran the lighting, added the mulch, some stepping stones....

The flag is a nice touch. If that's a recent picture and you have trees with green leaves it looks like you should have a great range all season long!

I’m in the SoCal area, so Im definitely blessed with kind weather year-round. It does get pretty cool here, however, the range parallels my driveway which heads to the back of the property where my detached garage/shop is located. I have a nice custom built bench inside the shop and its temp controlled for both hot summer days and chilly evenings.

Over time it seems the pellets could cut through the hay bales. Do you have anything behind the hay bales?

absolutely! There is a 4’x4’ piece of 3/4 inch plywood hanging on the fence behind the bales. In addition to that, there is a 4’x4’ 3/4 inch peice of ballistic rubber screwed onto the plywood. This makes any projectile that passes throught the bales, hitting the backer, absolutely stealth.
