Finished target

I just finished a practice target. I needed a easy to transport target to practice the longer range field target. The target is 14” square 1/4” plate. Center hole is 3” So far I made changeable kill size 1 3/4” and 1” the target sets in the angle iron base. When it cools down this evening I will give it a try. It’s too hot right now.

The paddle just moves at 75 yards. I don't have enough power to flip it up. The paddle is 4x4x3/16 I am not sure what it weighs
Looks good and somthing that after 5000 shots is still in one piece..lol. 3/16 i found the minimum that even a nreak barrel ober time dont ware holes in it or scallops / dish it..

As gar as the flap plate if you need it to flip up you need a counter or balance weight on top of the lever so a shight hit will rock it open and then the weight will balance it back closed.. probly more work then needed anyway unless you just want to experment and tinker more ..

Anyway nice😉..
