Finicky little things arent they!

Still tuning my 150 fpe uragan. 65.5gr nsa so far has been the best but not outstanding by anymeans. The recoil is pretty stout for an airgun. Ive been shooting an atlas bipod/rear bag off a wooden bench. The feet of the bipod are rubber. I started wondering if my problem is coming from the bipod/hold on the gun. So mocking a “hunting” hold, which for me is holding the bottle resting on something and floating the butt. Next thing I know Im holding under moa at 100 yards over and over. Maybe Im just not a bipod shooter? Which makes no sense being as I shoot f class lol. Anyhow, I put the bipod back on but folded a towel under it and lightly placed my hand on the bottle and there it is, some nice tight 1/2” groups consistently. So moral of the story, sometimes we get so wrapped up in tuning we forget the basics! Regardless, Im happy now Ive got a solid 150 fpe hunting slug rifle. Lets hope it repeats this again on saturday.

Forgot to add, I placed a 12oz can at 250 yards and rested off my truck, drilled it the first shot 👍
