Finally spotted second 🐿 of the year…69 Sheridan pcp

I thought possibly they were still hibernating. Now I think they were mostly wiped out by the lead plague last fall. 

I spotted this one about a foot off the ground on the side of a tree silhouetted at 36 yards, lasered. (I am now lasering all distances, as I tend to over calculate). I estimated he was 42 yards, I was wrong.

A quick shot offhand with the 69 Sheridan PCP, and he rolled. He was unrecoverable so I’m using a stock photo.
