Finally spotted second 🐿 of the year…69 Sheridan pcp

I thought possibly they were still hibernating. Now I think they were mostly wiped out by the lead plague last fall. 

I spotted this one about a foot off the ground on the side of a tree silhouetted at 36 yards, lasered. (I am now lasering all distances, as I tend to over calculate). I estimated he was 42 yards, I was wrong.

A quick shot offhand with the 69 Sheridan PCP, and he rolled. He was unrecoverable so I’m using a stock photo.

Nice piece. My first real airgun was a rocker 'dan, would have been mid 80's. I love your peep sights. Do you happen to have their #? I'm assuming they are Williams.

If memory serves me right, that is a Williams 64 sight on that beautiful gun. I would like to hear more info on that gun.

It is a Williams, it has no number that I can see.

As far as the rifle, I bought it this way by accident as part of a lot of an auction. It’s an original Sheridan CO2 converted to PCP. With a custom stock. It’s wonderful.
