Thanks, So the package randomly showed up at my house yesterday so thats good! Unfortunately the barrel is still not "floating" but I'm not going through the return process again and it doesnt seem to affect accuracy.
I got a Hawke 3-9x50 vantage mounted on it, with a riser and cantilever mount. Eye relief is now perfect! I am going to try and remove the riser and just use the cantilever mount as I dont like how much the shot placement changes with the scope and barrel being so far apart. I definitely like this gun, but as others have stated a barrel band would be nice.
I am wondering if i should have just went with the MROD, but I really like the bull pup look. I really wanted to have that warm and fuzzy feeling after this purchase, but i just don't have it unfortunately.

What did you mean you don't have the happy/excited feeling? You like a rifle style more than the bullpup? What are you not happy with?

The shroud should not be touching - that's not what you paid for. If you haven't already, I would call PA and tell them the issue wasn't resolved and send an e-mail so the issue is on record. I would then call/e-mail Benjamin; tell them briefly what has transpired and that you just want a gun that looks like the gun in the picture. You bought a better gun than the Marauder mainly, because of the sidelever; if you're not that happy with the bull pup configuration count yourself lucky - at least you didn't spend a ton of money on a top tier gun to find that out! Keep us posted and good luck...

I actually am loving the bullpup, and I got a cantilever scope mount and it feels great when shooting. So far it seems to be a tac driver and it isnt to bad to pump up with a hand up. I am just a little disappointed that the barrel issue wasn't resolved. I am most likely going to just keep it though, because I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it again. I think over all it is a great gun, I just think the design isn't maybe the best with the barrel and needs some support. It doesn't seem to effect accuracy though. So squirrels watch out!!!
