Finally joined the coveted 700 club!

After some thinking I decided to make my crown my bench long range gun even though it doesn’t have any where close to the power my impact has. Thanks to solid chassis it’s just much easier for me to be consistent compared to the impact, it just feels right. Now that it’s a pure bench gun I dubbed it the black mamba and of course I have to join the coveted 700cc bottle club all the cool kids are in. Yes, I cave easily under peer pressure. 

I have to say that it looks right and feels pretty good too, should of done this earlier……and this is only the 600mm, can’t imagine what a 700mm battle would look like!

Welcome! They remind me of a broom stick. My .30 cal is shooting 44grn at 940fps. Same speed as my .25 Impact @10 gn heavier

that’s straight up cheating by getting way closer to the target, might as shoot things point blank!

With that long barrel it honestly looks pretty proportional for the rifle, you could have easily went longer. I can’t blame you for doing it, I’m currently getting 26 shots per fill with a rifle I am practicing with and it’s a pain to stop shooting and fill it.

You might run into a problem with it being your bench gun. EBR rule’s only allow up a 580cc bottle.

Thanks for the heads up, I am unfortunately no where near good enough for EBR. This is just for entertainment purposes.

just order from FX USA, 55 dollars plus shipping which is less than 10 dollars. And it’s the 300bar/M3 version only now.

I envy you guys. I look at those rifles and I still wonder how anyone could spend that much on a air rifle unless they are very wealthy. With that 

said I look at my bass boat and can kind of understand. I suppose my love for air rifles must not be as strong as yours. But with that said I really 

do think there really neat. I,m glad that there is no gun range by me with folks like you with rifles as those. I,m afraid I would develop the same 

Sickness as you. I have always known many times it is more fun of dreaming of having something than having it. Oh well life is still good.

@fly: you my friend are damn rich! Just about any boat besides a rolling bathtub would make airguns look like chicken scratch.







BTW, I found a 42 inch case that fits the saber tactical crown perfectly and could potentially fit a 700mm barrel. 

42 inch is about the longest case that would fit in my trunk.
