Finally got to try out some 31.5gr Varmint Knockers today ***UPDATE***

and they worked GREAT in the Crown with a 1:20 twist slug barrel. Very happy with their performance on pigeons to 50 yards and squirrels to 75 yards. Excellent hunting 'bullets'.

Gotta git me some of these bad boys.

Well I got some more of D-Rigs slugs, only this time I used the 31.5gr Dimpled Base, Large Hollow Points. One word to describe both accuracy and knock down....DEVASTATING!

These slugs are the real deal.

Just so you know, I had originally purchased the heavier slugs from D-Rig and they were just a sliver too long for the Crown, Streamline and Wildcat magazines. D-Rig was kind enough to allow an exchange as he is local to me. D-Rig recommended using the 32.8 large hollow point slug, which is the one that I am very happy with.

I just wanted to alert those that might be considering using the heavier slugs as they might not fit your magazine.
