I had one take a trout away from me while fly fishing the Chattooga River. Luckily it was a very light tippet so it snapped easily as he flew off with it.

Wow that is so cool! Good job getting the pics of him as it happens quick.
I once shot a pigeon and it hit the ground but wasn't dead yet and was flopping around. I was getting ready to take another shot when a hawk swooped in and grabbed him up. Left a bunch of feathers floating in the air. Lol.

we have some quite large golden eagles, average to large bald eagles and some HUGE ospreys.
