Finally found an airgun that likes the Crosman Premiere .22s

I primarily shoot pests, ground squirrels, collared doves, etc. with my Sentry 705-9K .22. The CPHP's shoot pretty accurately but don't expand well because of the harder alloy. Luckily, the Daisy PrecisionMax Hollowpoints are even more accurate, are made of softer lead and have a huge HP cavity so they expand/dump energy with much more devastating effect. At a bit over power level 3, I get great accuracy out to 70 yards in calm conditions.

Never had any issues with them. At least the domed or HPs. The destroyers seem to be hit or miss. Have not tried the piranhas but I think I have some around.

Someone posted PA having .22 JSB in stock and went and priced out 8 tins. FIFTY DOLLARS FOR SHIPPING USPS! Tried CPHPs in a new HW100 and did fine to 30YD. Drove into town and got two boxes. With the luxury tax came out to about 7.25$/tin.

I shave off the mold seams and even out the bases...more accurate !!

My condor loves them in the 810fps range almost as much as jsb18s traveling at 880fps

The paint is like a tracer round, makes it easier to see going to the target. If you use nite vision it's pretty cool .

I have had good results w/ CPHP .22 IF the wind is mild. from 20 to 80 yards. further then that depends on the wind. I haven't tried any other types from crosman to be fair, the CPHP work good, so I just shoot them.

FX superior and superior heavy like them and can shoot them with pretty darn good accuracy if the wind don’t kick up too much. The 5th shot got pushed by a gust but managed to sneak in just under 1 MOA with first 4 shots at 100 yards.

I've had the same experience. Cph are actually pretty good. There was a time that their dies were wearing out and they were not very accurate but recently they have been very consistent and shiny. Piranhas are indeed hot garbage.

I was mucking around at the range yesterday and to my surprise the CPHP shot pretty damn impressive out to 120 yards @1050fps. It was by accident because I was trying out different ammo and shot them out of my impact with HS left on Max. Was actually quite surprised to see the speed from my 500mm barrel.

My Marauder shoots the HP version OK. 1.5" groups at 35yds. Accurate enough to help clean up the rabbit population in my yard.
