Finally found an airgun that likes the Crosman Premiere .22s

At long last. I've had this one tine of Crosman Premiere 14.3 gr .22 pellets for almost 4 years. Nothing, I repeat nothing, shoots them worth a damn. Until today.

I tried them in my .22 Uragan Compact and winner winner chicken dinner. Now the performance on these must totally suck, because they are taking the same flight path at 830 fps that the H&N 18s are taking at 750 fps. But - they are also landing in the same spot at 42 yards as the H&N 18s. Too gusty today for groups - but if I can find these in stock at Walmart I'll be shooting on the cheap tonight.

I found that accuracy increases greatly by washing and lubing them. Also I believe crosman recently replaced their dies because the ones I got this year are shinier and also have a less defined crease in the sides compared to the ones I bought early last year. They are very accurate in my marauder field and target. Honestly I shoot them way more than jsb .I definitely move to jsb when doing competition or hunting fur but many a pidgen has fallen to the CPH . I recently bought a case of the domes from pyramid air and hope they can fly better at long range than the hollow points. I heard they do.

please do not" disgust this on here,my HW 100,gamo coyote, and verious springer like the 14.3 grams" i caint aford $20.00 a tin for pellets, let the FX guys and Ed gun group buy that stuff they can afford it. Please these are cheap old pellets sold at Wall Mart to those less desirable. You dont want them"

crap, you are 100% right. These are cheap Wally World garbage!!!

When I go town I pick up a tin CP .22s, and over the past year maybe "amassed" a stash of six tins. Tried them again the other day, cause hey, tin of wally pellets at 7$ is worth a try. Especially nowadays. Shot this other day to my amazement out of my PP750, which BTW couldn't do anything with CPHP 22s just four months ago. Target 1 zeroing in and 2 with a flyer or two. The 55 YD steel is soup can grouping for plinking. Yay!

There is a difference in accuracy between the 14.3 Crosman Premier Hollow Points and the Crosman Premier Domes. Which are we talking about here? I have had consistently good results with the domes out to fifty yards and beyond, not so much with the hollow points, though I do use the HPs for sub 25 yard ratting.

I've found no difference in my uragan, but maybe I just got lucky. What gun are you using them in?

Crosman Premier HP .22s are probably some of the most underrated pellets around. Shoot like a dream in everything I put them in. I've got 3,000 rounds in the closet. Now the Crosman Premier Piranha on the other hand are completely hot garbage.  Never have heard of any gun that shoots those well.

My NP2 Trail loves the Piranhas. They are the most accurate pellet in that rifle, and I've tried almost all of them. But as fate would have it, the local wallyworld stopped carrying them. 🤨

You're the first! They patterned like a shotgun in my rifle (Hatsan Factor) but the HP all went through one hole at 25yd. Many stories on the Airgun Discord of the same experiences. Sounds like I need to try the round heads...if I can ever find them!
