Tuning Finally finished my M3 .30cal 700mm

I had a dual transfer port put on by Ernest Rowe I also put a huma slug probe in and had my regulator re-stacked So it will hold higher pressure. And a heavier Spring For slugs. Then had Ernest Rowe do a touch up tune on it. It's truly amazing by far my favorite airgun.

...but not really :)

My M3 is tuned for slugs and pellets I have a power tune on it but can shoot pellets as well the resin I am showing this is because when you change calibers the tiny set screw gets stripped and makes the pellet prob loose. So I put on this stronger prob holder because it's better and stronger i also put the pin prob on because I like power when I shoot slugs so to try and answer your question I don't know yet I just put in on tonight that's why in the photo you don't see the Kraford and lypt prob holder installed yet but I can shoot 44gr pellets at 880fps up to 1,050fps and the hybrid slugs about the same I like JSBs and Fx slugs. Last time I shot before the new tune I was half inch at 75yards in a bit of wind am not the best shot believe me hahahah.

Very cool, thanks for the info! That's a sweet gun you have there. If you ever get really froggy and want to push the power, the superior heavy .30 barrel is crazy accurate with the NSA 54.5, 61.5, and 65.5 grain slugs ;) I've been stocking up on all those for my Maverick .30 with the superior heavy. It is an absolute laser with those, and they hold up very well at long distance.

All three weights shoot very well in the 925-970 fps ranges for me. Generally, I try to tune them in the 950-960 range myself. Obviously, the 54.5 grain is the go to, if you don't want to crank the gun up too much to make those speeds. They are all equally accurate really. The only reason to move up to the 61.5 or 65.5 grain slugs is, if you need the extra BC and ability to buck the wind, or for hunting larger game. They all provide a pretty good smack downrange :D The heavier NSA slugs in combination with the superior heavy barrel are among the most accurate slugs I've ever shot, period. The prices are very competitive as well.
