Finally bought my first PCP

Took the plunge tonight, i sold off my Springfield XD 9mm and put the money up for a Benjamin Armada. After 6-8 months of over analyzing everything, I concluded that the Marauder is the best place to start. But then I started looking to accessories and realized the hunting rifle platform doesnt really have any spots to attach stuff, and the Armada has a few places to attach stuff. My shooting style favors a bipod etc.

Thank you everyone for being so awesome and helpful. This forum is truly a happy place on the web. I will be posting some pics soon.

Way over-analyzing everything. Analysis Paralysis! Welcome to my world. I spent months deciding on my first PCP (Marauder). My requirements ended up being something like:

.22 Caliber
accurate
price can't break the bank
reliable
adjustable - Learning Platform.

The Marauder (And Armada too) fit all that and more.

Welcome to the addiction

Awesome starter, the accuracy of the MRod is as good as the high end stuff. Trigger is about all it lacks. I say this from using and being around 6 Mrods along with 3 daystates that have over 2k invested in each. Mrod will perform easily to 100 yards especially in .25 cal. Congrats and welcome to the sickness. And yes air is a must, pick out which powder burner will go next to fund a compressor and tank. Lol

Several years ago, I was in the Phoenix area spending the winter close to my grandson,s residence. When it came to choosing my first serious air rifle I spent 2 1/2 hours at AOA with my grandson and walked out with an FX400 - a choice I have never regretted. The people at AOA were very patient and allowed us to view and often fire several airguns
Since that time I have purchased five more high end air guns either directly from AOA or Jim Stenis at Precision Air but I will always remember that first visit to AOA with my grandson.
