Finally, a High Quality compact scope

Athlons are great scopes, but they don't have any compact ones. All are 13+ inches long and over 20 oz.

why does that matter if your on a bench ? or laying the gun across sticks

I usually doesn't unless the configuration of the gun, like the TX200 makes the use of a compact scope a must. The TXs loading port would be covered with a normally long scope making loading difficult. A compact scope doesn't block it.

I just picked up a GPO 4x16x42 and so far it’s my favorite pcp scope. The glass comes from Germany and the scope is put together in the Philippines. Very clear glass and bright. Has all the others features I find desirable in a pcp scope. I have Sightron S- tac s on my other 2 pcps.

Optisan CP scopes are pretty good too. Short, light and available in SFP or FFP. Trenier Airguns has them in stock.
