Finally!! .30 perfection....for me anyway

What's the shot count? I want one

If I recall correctly, from watching Jon of FX USA at EBR, he was getting 2 or 3 full magazines on the regulator, definitely not 4. So 7x2 or 7x3 shots in .30

I will confirm tomorrow,but I am pretty sure I got 3 mags from just a 2900 psi fill

Just rewatched the Airgun Depot videoclip and he says 34 shots per fill on the factory set up...Weather did not cooperate at all today ,no groups or shot count numbers or crono numbers... tomorrow I will fill my tank and get some numbers

Siskakidd, thanks for the brief review and the pictures! I am on pins and needles waiting on my new Wildcat .30 to arrive. Like you I was one of the lucky ones that got a Wildcat .25 from the very first shipment... I had put my money down for one two months in advance. My old girl is still shooting perfectly but I am anxious to see what her big sister will do in .30 caliber!

HAHA I had a feeling you'd get one of these. I'm just waiting for some reports on it. Can't wait to see what you think about it and what kind of tuning you do

Just increase reg pressure from 143b to 150b, removed and polish hammer and spring, breech bore and installed jam plate on the HSTA. Installed double TP on barrel. 

set speed: 845 fps, 44g, about 27 shots

Hey Tom... I hope to set up my new Wildcat .30 to shoot the 44.75 pellets at least 900 ft/s which would be about 81 ft lbs energy... we will see what I can do when I get her. I will send you a pm to keep you posted.

What barells do they use ??? I no edgun .30cal barells are LW barrel.. and people say they need cleaning after 100 rounds or so ?

The 700mm smooth twist x ... have not shot it that much yet but impressed with what it’s doing at 50yds these are both 5 shot groups

I got one of the first batches of the .30 from Utah Airguns and it’s as good as everyone says it is. HOWEVER, I’ve started to get regulator creep. Utah Airguns tested it at 844fps average with the 44 grain JSB. After 100 shots I’m down to 711 average and for some reason my regulator access port has rotated down below the stock so I can’t get to it without removing the stock. Even at that speed it’s deadly accurate. I was hitting a 4” steel target at 126 yards in a decent breeze and I’m sure I can improve on that with my regulator sorted out, and better conditions.

What moderator is that I see on your new .30 wildcat. One should be at the house now. Ready for testing and development. My Huma test gauge to watch the reg in action should also be here soon.

Yes it’s the moderator that comes with the gun,and really not even needed the gun is so quiet I take the middle section out and just use the two end pieces and it is still super quiet.
