Filters before air tank

So I was watching some vids on the Omega air compressors and noticing the water blow out on the purge cycle. Seemed like a lot of water. Not what I want going into my gun. How useful is the air filters in getting that out? If one is good is there any downside to using two?

Not really other than that much more volume to fill before it gets up to pressure to fill your gun/tank. Might be excessive depending on what you are filling and how much humidity is in the air to start with. Also depends on which filter you use. "Size does matter" Lol.

I have the Turbo Omega, and did notice the dark liquid that shoots out after you purge. I have a alpha filter (Contact Joe Brancato, The Airgun Scientist) which has a check valve and its own separate purge valve/knob, so I get moisture released from the omega and filter when I purge, don’t notice any moisture coming from the tank purge.

After the compressor filters can be chilled to help remove remaining moisture.
