I have a Toauto vertical filter on my Omega. There is no media in the filter, works on the principle that the moisture goes to the bottom of the filter, which you then purge. The Omega itself purges water, but this is a backup. Only negative is it takes longer to fill your gun with the volume of the filter. Rick

I have been using the Omega one sold by AoA for the last three or so years, and it has worked great. I have opened it up a couple of times just to check out the media on the inside, and it looks like it did on day one. I was, in fact, recently considering adding another one in-line, but decided not to after seeing how dry the one by itself was.

Get the alpha filter from joe b, most effective by far. Been on my turbocharger for over 80 hours. Changed media once.

I just picked up an Omega filter from the classifieds for my Omega Air Charger. Only used it a few times so far but it seems to be working great.
The Air Charger doesn’t have the auto purge. I always make sure to purge every 5 mins and I get a fair amount of water each time but I still see water droplets on the quick connect so I know it’s not trapping all the moisture.
The quick connect has been nice and dry since the addition of the filter.
The Omega filter appears to be the same as the gold tuxing filters just more expensive. I definitely feel better buying it from AOA and having Omega put their name on it as opposed to the Alibaba special but a perceived sense of quality proves nothing.
The Omega filter does come with a very nice anti-kink hose that they sell separately on their site for $60.
