Filling new 78 cubic foot Air Venturi Tank with Omega Supercharger

Received my new Air Venturi 78 cubic foot tank from Pyramid Air - receiving usual terrific service.

FYI - I just happened to have enough fill hardware to be able to fill the tank. Unlike the small Air Venturi CF tank I purchase a year ago, this one does not have a separate fill port. I had to use a collections of fittings I just was lucky enough to have on hand to make the connection to my charging hose on my compressor. So don’t overlook the need for fill fittings when ordering a tank in the future.

Finally, I was surprised at the charge time. It took just short of three hours for the first fill. Obviously, a lot of air required. I am certain that topping off the tank from this point on won’t be a big deal...........

Your going to love having the extra air. Why didnt you get the 98 cf tank? Too big? Topping off will be much quicker. Good luck with it. Now you will need lots more pellets.

I have the Omega Supercharger and a 75 cubic foot Omega bottle. It takes me 45 - 48 minutes to fill it from 3200 psi to 4500 psi. I've been using it for 2 years.

When I recived a new AV 78 cf tank last year it took my AV compressor about 50-55 minutes to fill it from empty to 4400 psi it took a little longer to fill my new 88cf tank from empty. Takes about 40-45 minutes to fill the 78cf tank from 3000 to 4400 psi. I set my shut off at 4400 just to play it safe.
