Fill Station & Hydro in the Ft. Worth, TX Area?!

Well, I've not been as active shooting as I was and called my local scuba shop, Aquatrek in Ft. Worth, to make sure their tanks were maxed to fill my 4500 psi tank.

And apparently they have closed their doors, which sucks........and on top of that, my tank needs to be hydro tested, as the cert went out last month.

I had called I think 5-6 scuba shops around me prior, and none of them could fill past 3K.

Anybody in this area have an resources?

Not related to your area specifically but I've seen it reported that fire extinguisher companies can often do such. Might warrant a search.

I'll have to call around again I guess....surprisingly, the last time I had to have this done, and I called numerous places, many of them would not deal with the general public, they only dealt with businesses who brought them tanks.

If you don't mind dropping it off in Weatherford 1 day and picking it up the next I can fill you up till you get a source located .

There is Fun on the Run Paintball park in Sampson Park that you can take it to for a fill and hydro. Honestly though they send it to a company, DFW Fire Equipment, in Dallas for recertification.

Welding supply companies can also help getting tanks sent to hydro.

Thanks, I contacted them this morning. They can indeed do a fill. They said it's about $20.

I may also look into the cost associated with getting a 6K nitrogen tank.

I'm in Hudson Oaks, any particular place that you can shoot long distance without neighbors freaking out?

You might check with Texas Tactial on Zion Hill Rd also Parker County Sportsmans Club has a range out in Poolville.They do require a membership it used to be 35 a year not sure how much it is now . There is a archery range out on Mineral Wells Hwy that I believe has a 100 yrd range also .
