Fill fittings

I have only one fill probe and it's on my Zbroia Sapsan and currently I'd probably be hard pressed to ask Mr. Putin to hold up for a bit so they could make me another. I had an absolute panic the other day, couldn't find it, finally did, it was under a shop towel. Needed a drink after that.

So far I can still buy Russian beer while I shoot my Ataman’s but I would be hard pressed to to get a fill probe though

Fill probes SUCK!

Why?

1) No standards, they are all over the place. Foster QD's are based on a standard, measure them before use, Replace for a couple bucks, many come with a sintered filter or valve.

2) They are easy to misplace/lose. Foster QD's stay put 100% of the time.

3) Forgot your probe? SOL! Foster QD's are always there.

4) It's almost always a false dichotomy anyway as nearly all probes use a Foster QD to attach them to the air hose!

Foster fittings all the way for me! Currently only have one gun left that requires a fill probe.

This thread is the first I have ever heard of someone preferring the probes. But to each their own.

all my guns use probes, I like and prefer them
it does not matter to me what others use and like,,, I am not selling them,
so I agree,,, each to their own

HogKiller,, I have a spare Zbroia probe, if you get in a bind
