Trying something new.
Been running my .22 Veteran Shorty at 865fps with 18gr JSBs since I got it last summer.
I really like that tune/ammo combo and I get a full 50 shots that way.
Today I eased the Donny Speed Dialer back one full turn and loaded some of these copper coated pellets.
They ran over the chrono at about 750fps and were grouping really tight at 30 yards. It was breezy today and they were opening up past 30.
Thing I like best is shot count. 50 shots from 250 down to 170 BAR. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up where I left off and shoot down to 120 BAR.
Looking like I'll get about 80 shots. We'll see!
