FIELD TARGET TECH. TURRET TIP/MODIFICATION

Very nice Tom, when I first started watching the video I though, oh man, that could be a lot bigger so it would easier to see and use. Hahaha, I got a little a head of myself, I should have known you’d have it all dialed in, looking and working great. The large diameter is a necessity in my book and you nailed it. Well done buddy, it looks awesome!

Thanks Tom for the DIY!!!

Thought about epoxying double and triple PVC pipes to wedge fit onto turret but your idea makes more sense. When double and triple gluing 3 within eachother you can even make a flat zero stop collar plate at the bottom threaded to scope turret cover threads with a door wedge grove shaped filed notch sinking down on the base with a staple on the top and a long thin threaded Allen bolt sticking down from top of the PVC turret cap and adjust it to barely clear with one revolution.

Odoyle,

I have an easier way figured out for that.

I have extra scope clamps for mounting stuff on scopes. Stuff like windicators, levels, extra rails and more. I take one of those, drill and thread a small diameter Allen setscrew. Do the same to the bottom of the PVC cap. The key is to line them up, so they hit each other. Now just adjust the height of either one, so it just clears on the one up revolution, but not down. Positive stop.
