So I been wanting to make a field or hunting bag. And I want some opinions, I was thinking of something like a 5.11 tactical rush 12, something kinda small not to big. I was thinking of putting an Omega 18 cubic foot tank, I have a Caldwell bag that’s about 6x4inches. I would carry my speed loaders, range finder and extra maverick mag o ring. Also Allen wrench set, flashlight, and knife. What y’all think.

sounds good, whatever works for what you are doing, it will evolve as you go along .. this lightweight setup goes with me everywhere, got tools, orings, spare parts, hoses even a rifle barrel in the zippered top ..

If you carry a springer like I do, a bag isnt needed... Just grab some pellets and sling the rifle over my shoulder and off I go !! To each his own, but the thought of having to pack my bag for a walk in the woods just doesnt sound exciting.
