How do you like the truglo open sights? I remember I had a few Gamos in the day that had them. Back then I had better eyesight. Will they be an improvement over iron sights for old eyes?

I actually prefer the tru glo type sights over the plain black open sights for quickest target acquisition.

Fiber optic open sights came with an inexpensive Chinese made springer that I bought many years ago and those sights work very well. At least with my eyes anyway.

With my Eyesight not as good as it used to be, the true glow work better for me. The only time they can be a little problematic is when shooting in bright sunlight. They tend to light up a little too much For me and then Depending on what kind of target sometimes I can’t see the target itself as good.

I would have to vote in favor of the tru-glo also. Before I put a scope on my Gamo, I could hit anything with those sights. I dropped the gun a few weeks ago and broke the front sight. An easy replacement from Daisy/Gamo.
