Here's something I do to many of my vintage guns. I carefully epoxy a small piece of fiber optic to the front blade. It help you see and is easy removed.
That looks better than what I have been doing. I’ve been just painting the end of the blade With fluorescent paint.I can just barely use open sites anymore. But it varies every time I shoot .Red dots don’t even work that great for me anymore. And I’m not putting scopes on my vintage guns. And even if I did decide to do that, some of them would need custom mounts anyway.
