FFP scopes ..Am I missing something?

I understand the FFP scopes ( cross hairs grow with magnification) Is there some big benefit to this I'm unaware of ?
I've had a couple and itkinda annoyed me that you weren't apparently able to aim as precisely as other variables

I agree, not a fan of ffp. I prefer a fine reticle true at a higher magnification so the holdover values can be minimized.

Say your reticle is calibrated at 20x, your holdover is 10 mildots, just dial down to 10x and you now have a 5 mildot holdover

Yeah Tony and honestly the scope brands mentioned are usually not very good .

Indeed, I would like to take a look at the Delta optical 4,5-14 ffp, it has a really nice reticle and my past experience with Delta have been very good

What I don't like is how tiny the reticle can become at minimum magnification and how thick at max. Not really for paper punching but for hunting. But I will stick to SFP

Yeah I've seen a couple leapers and center point . utg and such . I have posted some nice groups here in various posts ...I'm 100% convinced there is nothing special about my one eyed ass except I buy good scopes !!!
A buddy has a 40 yard one hole Marauder , but we never knew it till we took off the60$ Walmart center point
