I find the succesrate on cats higher, with shots just behind the frontleg. Rather than headshots. But the downside by that shot, is that they always run a bit. With headshots you risk some really ugly wounding shots at the jaw.

What I don't like seeing is the wholesale hysteria of none discriminate targeting of any species just because they are there and can be used as a target of opportunity.
